What is WeShare Healthcare?

WeShare is a low-cost alternative to health insurance that is operated through monthly contributions, which are then distributed to people who need help paying medical bills. WeShare takes a modern approach to health sharing that prioritizes preventive, holistic health and well-being to our members, who can use its perks across the country.

Members of WeShare agree to prioritize a faith-based, preventative, proactive, & holistic approach towards health & well-being. Members have the freedom to make decisions about their healthcare & wellness!

WeShare is opportated by UHSM (Unite Health Share Ministries™), a nonprofit, faith-based health sharing ministry that facilitates member-to-member health sharing.

Values & Goals

Our values align with a holistic, faith-based approach towards health care: preventative and proactive care is the best stance towards living and leading a life ordained by God. Our bodies are temples unto the Lord, we take wellness to mean caring for one’s mental, physical, and spiritual selves.

Our goals include: Fostering a united community of believers to care for each other and bear each other’s burdens. To fellowship and disciple with a joyful heart, with the desire of faithfulness towards God the Holy Spirit. Heal humanity through the extension of the ministry of Christ, through charitable outreach; services and programs for the nation; and a deep desire to foster community through sharing.

Mission

Our Mission is to unite the community of believers, all Christians, regardless of denomination or church affiliation, to identify, foster, and facilitate education, charitable outreach, programs, and services for the communities of like-minded religious individuals that desire to honor their individual, sincerely held religious beliefs as set forth in the Bible and to provide benevolence to others as Christ did.

 

Vision

Our Vision includes being a ministry that is sensitive to the temporal and spiritual needs of all people. The vision and expression of Christian love, and the church reflection, lead the vision to provide for the needs of families, singles, children, young people, and senior citizens through health, or needs-based sharing programs, as a tangible expression of the extension of the ministry of Jesus Christ, to touch and heal all of humanity.

Theme Scripture

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

We believe to honor our bodies and to enable the light within us, we need to take care of our bodies. We believe total wellness to include taking care of our mind, body and spirit. In doing so we are honoring our temples and letting the light of Christ shine brightly through.

Statement of Faith & Shared Beliefs

God does not intend for us to bear all our burdens alone. Unfortunately, we often are far more willing to help others to carry their burdens than we are in allowing others to help us shoulder our own. God calls us to bear the burdens of others because it is through our actions that God’s comfort is made manifest. This concept is built on the fact that the church is the body of Christ.

We believe the primary mission and expression of Christian love and Christian purpose is to provide for the needs of families, singles, children, young people, and senior citizens through sharing programs, beyond the congregants of any one local Church, as the tangible expression of the extension of the ministry of Jesus Christ to touch and heal all of humanity. Our sincere beliefs on health reflect a theology that holds that all things must be interpreted finally with reference to the Bible. Practically, one should have a sound body and mind to render the most effective service to God and to others.
